Dr. David Haile-Meskale, MDCM, CCFP
Lead Physician of Urgent Care
Dr. Haile-Meskale joined our Medcentre Health Professional Team as an Urgent Care Physician in July 2020.
He went to McGill University for his medical education and received the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery (MD CM) degree.
He completed his postgraduate residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto.
He has been functioning as Lead Physician of Urgent Care since 2025.
He is also a Palliative Care Specialist working at Humber River Hospital and has recently been appointed as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Jasleen Grewal, MD, CCFP
Lead Physician of Women's Health Care
Dr. Grewal joined our Medcentre Health Professional Team in July 2022, at the inception of our Women's Health Care Clinic.
She completed her medical education at the Schulich School of Medicine at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada.
She completed residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto and is a certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP).
She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in women's health.

Dr. Vijitha Mugunthan, MD, CCFP
Family Physician & Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Vijitha Mugunthan joined our Medcentre Health Professional team as a Family Physician & Urgent Care Physician.
Dr. Mugunthan completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and received her medical education at University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She brings over seven years of experience practicing comprehensive Family Medicine in Canada.
Dr. Vijitha Mugunthan is a Certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP) in Canada.
Dr. Mugunthan is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care to individuals and families of all ages. Her clinical interests include women's health, geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and urgent care.
Dr. Mugunthan is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to building long-term relationships with her patients.

Dr. Jack Zheng, MD, CCFP
Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Jack Zheng joining our Medcentre Health Professional Team as an Urgent Care Physician at the beginning of this year, he brings a wealth of training and a genuine passion for family medicine.
Dr. Zheng went to McMaster University for his medical education and received the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
After his medical education, he completed his postgraduate residency training in Family Medicine at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto.
He is a certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP).
Dr. Zheng enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine.

Dr. Bilal Negash, MD, CCFP
Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Bilal Negash joined Medcentre Professional Team at the beginning of this year.
He completed his undergraduate Science degree with Honours from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Bilal Negash then earned his Medical degree (MD) from George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS), Washington, USA.
He completed his Residency training in Family Medicine at Humber River Hospital, University of Toronto, and is a certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP).
He did a Fellowship in Global Health & Vulnerable Populations at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Negash is passionate about all aspects of family health, with special interests in urgent care, minor surgical procedures (including joint injections), and the health of refugees and new immigrants.

Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Sarah Khan joined Medcentre Health Professional Team in 2025.
Dr. Khan completed her undergraduate degree with honours from the University of Toronto.
She earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine and obtained her MD.
Dr. Khan then completed her residency in Family Medicine in New York, USA.
She is a certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP).

Dr. Hunaina Mirza, MD, CCFP
Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Hunaina Mirza joined Medcentre Health Professional Team as an Urgent Care Physician in 2021.
She completed her medical education at the University of Karachi and subsequently worked in surgery and emergency medicine in the United Kingdom.
After moving to Canada, she completed her Family Medicine residency training at the University of Toronto.
She is a certified Family Medicine Physician (CCFP) with a special interest in office-based surgical procedures.
